I was told that it is harmful to put a newborn thru 2 month old in a vibrating chair?
Hi. I was just wondering if this is really true. My son, who is now 2 used to sit in a vibrating chair, swing or pack and play quite often from the start, and he doesn’t have any problems. Has anyone heard that this is harmful to infants or did I get info from somebody who gets a little to worried over nothing? If it is harmful, do you know what it may do to the child?
I had heard that also and asked the nurse at the hospital about it She said she knew nothing about it, but babies are so fragile at that stage when it comes to their neck and brains developing, they really shouldn’t need the vibration – just a whole lot of loving and cuddling.
