I personally wouldn’t recommend silicone based foundations, but that’s just because I find they clog pores. I know MAC carries some silicone based foundations in their collection if that’s the type of company you are looking for. Also try Laura Mercier.

Personally something that’s really in right now, and I actually am in the midst of taking classes for it now to get my certificate, is airbrush makeup. It’s absolutely perfect for wedding photography and brides, as it’s extremely lightweight, but provides amazing coverage. It’s used in HDTV because of it’s natural looking finish, yet it covers better then any normal foundation and when set with powder, lasts all day. It’s good for all skin types as well.

If you can find an airbrush artist with training in your area, I strongly recommend it.
